Join us for a Tour of the United States Military Academy At West Point
Hear the story of West Point and the United States Military Academy beginning in 1778 during the Revolutionary War, to the present role of the United States Military Academy as the premier training facility for leaders who mold the future of our country. Along the way, historical figures such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Dwight Eisenhower, and even Benedict Arnold help bring the story of West Point and our nation to life. The bus tour makes stops at Trophy Point, Battle Monument, the Plain and the Cadet Chapel.
This tour requires easy walking and visitors spend approximately 1 hour off the bus at the various stops, most of which are outdoors. We encourage guests to bring water and take measures to protect themselves from the elements. While a rare instance, being an active duty army post, tour times and access to venues within West Point are subject to change without notice. There are no restroom stops and food is not permitted on the tour. All tours are conducted in English.
If anyone in your party requires the use of their wheelchair for the tour, please purchase the wheelchair lift ticket. Our buses can accommodate one wheelchair per tour time. We do not provide wheelchairs.
All tours originate and end in the parking lot of the Fred V. Malek Visitors Center in Highland Falls, NY. GPS directions are included in your confirmation.
Please check the calendar for availability. If your selected date shows no tour times it means it’s in the future and you should continue to check the calendar, or it’s currently not available for reservations; has sold out; not being held due to a West Point special event; or it’s a Saturday of a home Army football game www.goarmysports.com
