Join us for a Tour of the United States Military Academy including the West Point Cemetery and Old Cadet Chapel

Our two-hour tour includes all the sites and topics included on the one hour and 15-minute tour. The additional time includes a tour of the West Point Cemetery and Old Cadet Chapel, built in 1837. This tour delves into the lives and contributions of some of the US Military’s and West Point’s most notable figures laid to rest on this hallowed ground.

This tour requires moderate walking and visitors spend approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes off the bus at the various stops, most of which are outdoors. Some pathways may be unpaved and the ground uneven. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. We encourage guests to bring water and take measures to protect themselves from the elements. While a rare occasion, being an active duty army post, tour times and access to venues within West Point are subject to change without notice.  This tour may also be redirected due to an unforeseen funeral or ceremony and either chapel may be closed to visitors for special events with no advance notice. There are no restroom stops and food is not permitted on the tour. All tours are conducted in English.

If anyone in your party requires the use of their wheelchair for the tour, please purchase the wheelchair lift ticket. Our buses can accommodate one wheelchair per tour time. We do not provide wheelchairs. The cemetery tour is on unpaved, and uneven ground.

All tours originate and end in the parking lot of the Fred V. Malek Visitors Center in Highland Falls, NY. GPS directions are included in your confirmation.

The 2hr tour is seasonal and only offered on weekends in the spring and fall, and most days in the summer. Please check the calendar for availability. If not showing available on your desired date, please select the West Point Story tour option or another date.  If your selected date shows no tour times for either tour it means it’s in the future and you should continue to check the calendar, or it’s currently not available for reservations; has sold out; not being held due to a West Point special event; or it’s a Saturday of a home Army football game

ALL SALES ARE FINAL This includes but is not limited to feeling ill, arriving late or for the wrong day or time, forgetting ID, not passing the background check, adverse weather unless cancelled by West Point, and etc. Reservations are specifically for the day and time selected and paid for. Guests who arrive for a tour other than the one they reserved will need to make an additional, paid reservation. Please review the Reservations Required tab below for additional information.
