West Point is an active military post and requires the following from our visitors.
- Everyone over the age of 18 years old is required to bring government issued photo ID. Examples: Drivers license or passport. Students between 17-18 years of age may bring high school photo ID. Original documents only, NO PHOTO COPIES.
- Foreign visitors of ALL ages must have their passports. Original documents only, NO PHOTO COPIES.
- For Group tours reserved with West Point Tours, each group must send in a manifest sheet completed with the names, dates of birth, gender, and type of ID being used. Click here to download form. Click here if you need further instructions to complete the manifest.

Due to weather or unforeseen circumstances at West Point, tour times indicated may change and Chapel, cemetery, and any other venue access, may be closed without notice. Visitor’s may call the Visitor’s Center at (845) 938-2638 for West Point status updates.

Tours of the United States Military Academy at West Point depart from the Visitors Center located at 2107 New South Post Road, Highland Falls, NY, 1 block before the Thayer Gate which is the main entrance to the Academy. Tours are combined bus and walking tours with a guide that operate daily with the following exceptions listed below.
Groups need to check in 15 minutes prior to the tour start time at the West Point Visitor’s Center located at 2107 New South Post Road, Highland Falls, NY. Late Arrivals are not guaranteed the full tour time and may incur a $30 late fee for each portion of 30 minutes their end-time is extended.

During USMA Graduation Week
Saturdays of Army home football games
The discretion of Garrison CommandTour times can change without notice. Chapels, cemetery and any other venues may be closed without notice due to prior commitments.

Our Daily Tour buses do not have restrooms and there are no rest stops during the tour.

Photography is allowed in most areas on our tour venues. Your Tour Guide will alert you to portions of the tour where photography and video are not permitted

Tours may enter the Cadet Chapel and the Old Cadet Chapel located at the West Point Cemetery. All other buildings are not open to the general public

- All step on guide reservations require a $50 deposit.
- All combinations of a guide and bus reservation require either the $100 or $200 deposit dependent upon the bus reserved.
- Deposits are due at the time of the reservation or by the due date on your confirmation or contract.
- Charters are subject to cancellation if payments are not received by due dates

- If cancellation is 7-20 days prior to the trip the deposit per bus would be lost.
- If cancellation is 2-6 days prior to the trip 50% of the cost of the bus would be lost.
- If cancellation is within 24 hours of the trip the entire cost of the bus would be lost.

Cancellations or changes to reservations are only accepted via email during business hours, M-F, 8-4PM.
**Cancellations made a minimum of 72 business hours prior to the trip receive a full refund.
**Cancellations made within 24-72 business hours prior to the trip receive a full refund, minus the deposit.
**Changes made within 48 business hours incur an additional $50 per bus fee.
**Cancellations/changes made less than 24 business hours prior, or no-show groups, forfeit the full cost of the reservation.
**Groups or guests denied entry due to not fulfilling the Manifest and/or ID requirements or who cancel within 24 hours of the tour forfeit their cost.
**Tours that are cancelled due to an official event at West Point are fully refundable if we are unable to reschedule your group.

We offer a wheelchair lift ticket on all of our daily tours, and this ticket can be purchased online. If no ‘Wheelchair’ ticket is showing, it means it has already been reserved for that tour and we request you choose another time. Read more regarding West Point Tours, Inc’s ADA information here.

Please visit the Metro North Train website for options to arrive at Garrison or Peekskill train station and then take a taxi to West Point. We recommend making prior arrangements with a taxi company or ordering an Uber before arriving. Another option is to visit the Shortline Bus website for their schedule that includes the West Point Visitors Center stop. We are not affiliated with either of those companies nor do we make arrangements for guests to arrive at West Point. If arriving by car, use 2107 New South Post Road, Highland Falls, NY in your GPS. Please allow ample time to arrive prior to your tour time.

We are proud to offer wheelchair-accessible coaches on any of our charters. To request a wheelchair coach for your next trip, please contact our office at least 48 hours prior to your departure, preferably at the time of booking your charter. If booking a tour of West Point, select the wheelchair lift ticket option instead of calling.

All of our motorcoaches have restrooms; minicoaches offer a lavatory option, and the Sprinter and school buses do not.

$200.00 per bus per day – due within 14 days of ordering your transportation. The balance is due 14 days prior to your trip

- If cancellation is 7-20 days prior to the trip the $200.00 deposit per bus would be lost.
- If cancellation is 2-6 days prior to the trip 50% of the cost of the trip would be lost.
- If cancellation is within 24 hours of the trip the entire amount of the trip would be lost.

Smoking is not allowed at any time. If you are going to have alcohol you must pay a $250 fully refundable deposit. Red, grape, and orange drinks are not allowed due to the permanent staining nature unless they are in resealable containers.

Food may be brought on for your personal consumption. We ask that you remove your trash when you leave the bus.

A driver can work a total of 15 hours on duty with 10 hours driving in any 24 hour period. When a driver reaches either the 10 or 15 hour maximum they are required by law to have at least 8 consecutive hours off duty before they can do any work or driving again.

Yes, a 10 million dollar policy – certificate of insurance can be furnished on request.
